Had TNA actually known how to do marketing and get sponsors (and not have Russo as their booker), they could have competed with WWE at a decent rate. But they were always gonna be hampered in some way.
The funny thing is TNA had a chance to prove that when Russo left, but Russo was the one who gave TNA their highest ratings they ever had, and when Russo left the ratings went straight down the toilet lol
I think TNA’s biggest problem is they didn’t have someone at the very top who had a singular vision. Most of TNA of TNA’s run they actually had a committee of directives, including Dutch Mantel and Jeff Jarrett and Mike Tenay and they didn’t get on the same page in what they want to be and that I think was the biggest problem. If you had someone like Dixie Carter, who actually had a vision like regardless of what some people think about Tony Kahn, he has a vision.
