It's confirmed. Lane Kiffin's headed to Baton Rouge as the new head coach of LSU.

We got more hires in college football.

- South Florida's HC Alex Golesh is expected to be hired as Auburn's new HC.

- Tulane's HC Jon Sumerall's expected to be hired as Florida's HC on a six-year deal.

- Memphis' HC Ryan Silverfield's expected to be hired as Arkansas new HC.

- Southern University's expected to hire NFL Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk as their new HC.

It's confirmed. Lane Kiffin's headed to Baton Rouge as the new head coach of LSU.

The decision was made a while ago. He was trying to negotiate a way to coach Ole Miss in the playoffs. He told his offense that anybody not on the plane with him won't be working in Baton Rouge. He was basically burning a bridge that he was still standing on.

Nits nixed again: DeBoer denies PSU job interest

Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer said he is not interested in other jobs, including the opening at Penn State.

I knew DeBoer wasn't gonna go anywhere. Why leave a big time college football program like Alabama for Penn State? He's coached the team to the right direction, especially playing in the SEC Championship, in his second year as Bama's head coach. Schools would have to throw a lot of money to sway him away from Bama and that's not gonna happen. Brian Daboll may be the Penn State's head coach. Also, Mike Tomlin's name been mentioned IF the Steelers parts ways with him after the season.
