So, I'm gonna make this short and sweet and try to get to the point as quick as possible.
I had a buddy that I've known since 2004. Met in band class and we instantly clicked. I brought my Wrestlemania XX DVD to school to lend it to another one of my friends and I found out he was a wrestling fan as well, so we just became best buds from the get-go. We had a great friendship since then, but until around the beginning of this year, we started to not talk as much. I understand life moves on. That's fine but from what I've been told by some of our mutual friends, he wasn't doing anything different than what he was doing before then. He just stopped talking to me. I know this sounds really stupid and childish but it hurts a bit because I never did anything wrong. We just stopped conversing for some reason.
Then we started talking again a few months ago and everything was awesome. Found out he moved even closer to my house so we'd be able to hang out more often like the good ol' days. That was the last time we talked. Then I found him on Twitter after seeing that he closed his FB. So I was pretty happy. Tried tweeting him one time saying "what's up bro?". All that crap. Then he blocks me. I'd understand if it was for a reason but it's like he's really avoiding talking to me and just ending this friendship. When I saw that he blocked me for an unknown reason, it hurt. Got a bit upset, TBH. We've been best buds for 8 years. Then he just stops keeping in contact with me.
So, after all of that (that was much more than I wanted to type out), have you ever lost a best friend because of a non-existent reason? Have you ever felt like it was your fault or have you just said "fuck it" and moved on with your life? I don't know what I'm gonna do yet because that's the first time that's ever happened to me so it really sucks.
