But it's funny because despite saying that about you Chris, I also have some minor trust in grim. As an experienced mafia player, to just outright say "Hey guys we should kick our feet up and just let D1 happen", that would be insane if he was scum and pulled that. But if his history is "game within the game" bluffs, then perhaps that also could be that angle.

I may have to give myself some periodic breaks from the thread because if I think too hard and long it's like a fucking revolving door of who I trust and why.

To be fair, I absolutely love strategy games and poker. My friends and I would play actual survivor with the rules and everything, so just applying the logic that I know from those games to the base knowledge I have from playing this a handful of times is why I'm being a bit overanalytical.

I don't try and read people backwards if that's what you're asking. I just say Grim is acting weird and scummy but may not commit on going for him over someone else I have a suspicion on. I'm not gonna town read someone I think is acting scummy even if it's burned me a lot, my brain just doesn't really allow it

Basically help him respond. The one time I was scum back when i was still getting my feet wet, I was told to put it in my own words so it looks natural, but was helped with how to reply to certain things from experienced players. So I know that's not uncommon to happen in the scum chat.

Different strokes, I prefer getting intel early instead of wasting time hoping something comes to me. If we all sit back and don't interact than we will just be playing russian roulette come night time.

Brett's right on that front. Forums makes it way easier for Mafia to sit in the shadows not having to even say anything if two townies are going at each other, it's an easy strategy. We have enough so far that everyone should be able to offer some thoughts though. We don't need to throw out votes intil we hear from everyone I think. Troop still needs to catch up for sure
