Preview​

The wait is over. Tonight, stemming from the Cruiserweight Classic, the men under 205lbs get their own stage. A high-octane and spectacular brand, 205 LIVE, premieres for the very first time.

In what promises to be an epic main event, “The Man with a Plan”, The Brian Kendrick, will defend his WWE Cruiserweight Title against the man he defeated for it, the winner of the Cruiserweight Classic and first Cruiserweight Champion, TJ Perkins.

For Perkins, this is a chance at redemption, having captured the hearts of the WWE fans with his journey through the CWC, only to have his momentum snatched away by Kendrick at Hell in a Cell. He will be looking to reclaim the gold and prove his inaugural reign was no fluke.

For the champion, this is his first true test. Kendrick used his veteran knowledge, feigning an injury, to capture the title, and now he must prove he can keep it. Will The Brian Kendrick have another master plan in store, or will his reign be a short one?

Six of the division's most dynamic competitors will collide in a massive 6-Man tag match, opening the very first episode of 205 LIVE. Rich Swann will team up with the athletic Cedric Alexander and the “King of the Ropes,” Gran Metalik. Standing in their way is a dangerous combination. The ruthless Ariya Daivari will join forces with the technically gifted Noam Dar and the brutal Drew Gulak.

Elsewhere, The Premier Athlete looks to silence the Bollywood celebration. Gurv and Harv Sihra are set to bring their fun-loving energy to 205 LIVE. However, they must go through Tony Nese. An arrogant powerhouse who believes he is the pinnacle of the division. Nese has no time for showmanship, and when Gurv Sihra steps into the ring, he will need all of that Bollywood spirit to pull off a stunning victory.
