The man who had the distinction of being called the General Manager of Monday Night RAW. Thae being WWE Hall of Famer and “Wrestling Icon” Kurt Angle wasted very little time in confirming a huge match for the Summerslam pay per view. He took to the ring on an episode of Monday Night RAW and once inside the squared circle he invited both the reigning WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins©, as well as the WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor© to join him
. Both of the champions made their respective ways out to the ring; Angle then proceeded to announce the huge match in question. A champion versus champion winner takes all match for both the Universal and Intercontinental Championships.

In reclaiming the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship as a result of this both women had agreed that they would always have each other’s backs. They would be going their separate ways for the foreseeable future and in the spirit of this both of them pleaded their respective case. To Monday Night RAW GM Kurt Angle for an opportunity for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship, and Angle proceeded to make a number one contender match between the two.
When it was time for the number one contender match it concluded in a double pin situation, which brought out the reigning double women’s champion Becky Lynch©. Who stated that she was impressed with both of them and had cleared it with Angle it would be a triple threat title match at Summerslam.

When it came down to the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship there wasn’t a want for potential contenders to the tag team gold. The current reigning champions that being the pair of Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder© wanted to continue to be fighting champions. So, they had a meeting with MNR General Manager Kurt Angle and requested that he allow them to defend their gold in a four-way ladder match at Summerslam.
Which saw Angle question if they were sure about that request, which they stated they were one hundred percent certain. Angle revealed that he had some ideas on who could make up the contending challengers, which Hawkins and Ryder stated they were fine with whoever. And Angle proceeded to reveal that he had had selected Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush, Breezango and the newest tag team to MNR that being the War Raiders.
