So, my mom heard some people talking about Wii Fit, and became interested. Her birthday is coming up this Friday, and she said that she wanted one. Only-- we don't even have a Wii. So has anyone ever played Wii Fit? Is it good enough and legit enough to buy a Wii system for it?

By legit, I mean, can it be taken seriously as a way to exercise, or is it just a lame attempt by Nintendo to make money? I'd like to know what you guys think.

LMAO. My mom is the same. We bought the Wii just for the Wii fit. Only thing is we dont have the Wii fit yet lol. We didnt want to get it at the same time with the Wii cause thats too much in 1 day. And when every we go to best but either its all gone or we just said we'll get it next time. So yea i got a Wii last month but hardly even played it. But my mom just played Wii fit at her friends house like a week ago and it really convinced her to really get one now, so when i do ill probably review it lol.

Yeah i mean its probably a legit way to exercise and have fun i guess. I haven't tried it either but I heard a lot of hype. You should probably try it or your mom try it because you cant really tell if its good enough based on review and text if you know what im saying.

I'm sure just exercising by running/swimming ect. is far better, but if you're not into it, it's a great way for fun too I guess.

TBH, it actually does work pretty well. It's great for light exercise and works pretty well for older people who don't wanna hit the gym. I know a few people who have lost like 20 pounds using it.
But all in all between buying the Wii and all the shit you need for it you may as well just buy a gym membership.

20 pounds? You're right, it does sound like it works pretty well lol. And yeah, she's had a gym membership for about a month now, but still hasn't even been there once. And honestly, after her first day there, she probably won't be interested in going back. So hopefully this will be a fun way for her to get in shape, and keep her interested.

Wii Fit much like a lot of the exercise games on the Wii do work, but just like any exercise equipement and routine, it only works if you stick with it.
