From an entertainment prespective there simply can be no one better than DX with only HHH and Shawn, there were amazingly entertaining.

From a wrestling, sucess, and team work point of view i would say either Hawk and Animal or Edge and Christian.

Personally I found E&C more entertaining than DX. Really miss those types of gimmicks though.
