Who Do You Think is the Best Pro Wrestler Going Right Now?

Kurt Angle:He's at the top of the list. This guy can pull a good match out of anybody. He's an all around great wrestler, good on the mic, can play both heel and face, and just happens to be my most favorite wrestler. I think him at his best is when he plays the Olympic red, white, and blue Kurt.

Jericho: Pretty much the same as Kurt. Anything he touches is gold. I wasn't really that high on him in the past, but since his lastest heel turn, he's been great. He's even freshened up his character by throwing some comedy into it.

Honorable mention goes to HBK, Christian and Taker.

I'll have to see more from Danielson and McGuinness. I've seen the others wrestle for years now. At least a decade. From what I've seen of those two, it's been pretty good. But I'll have to see more. As for Hero... I thought he was Punk using a super hero gimmic the 1st time I saw a picture. I've not seen many of his matches though. Just a few here or there.

Oh yeah, I forgot AJ Styles too. He goes in the Honorable Mentions as well.

AJ is one of the better storytellers in all of wrestling. Just because he has some "High-flying" moves doesn't mean he has no ring psychology. And fuck, he's 90% less in his aerial game to the short trunks days in 05-06. He's got plenty of charisma too, he just has TNA Face syndrome of yelling abd whining all the time in his promos.

He is okay when he's just himself and since his prince days, but he's always pissed off and kicking trash cans now though. He did pretty okay in the BFG hype video for his match with Sting.

Just compare one of his matches to like Amazing Red's, there's a world of difference. Just because a guy moves faster than Trips or Undertaker speed doesn't mean he can't tell a story. =/

As for Styles, I think his only problem is his mic skills. Depending on the type of character he's playing, they are awful. He's average at best on the mic though.

The best going now? AJ Styles, he represents TNA perfectly as TNA World Champion, so far I've enjoyed every title defense he's had. Not only that, I've been waiting for AJ to win that damn belt for months and months, its so great to FINALLY see him at the top of the food chain where he belongs. Kurt Angle is a very close second, the guy continues to put on MOTY candidates

In WWE, I would say Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho are pretty much equal but for different reasons. HBK, even at his age, can still put on an amazing match no matter who the opponent is. And Jericho, well, he's Jericho, phenomenal mic skills, he knows what to do and say to get heat, he's basically pure awesome.
