What's Worse: Your Fave Team Missing the Playoffs or Making the Playoffs and Losing

I would go with my team dominating the entire regular season and then choking when it came time for the postseason. Seen it many times the past few years with the Ravens and Orioles and TBH id much rather have them just miss the tournament than losing in the first/second round.

As a Falcons can, and seeing 28-3 happen, I rather they didn't have a good season that year than having to had witnessed that.

Same shit I feel most weeks watching the Falcons. If they are going to be a dumpster fire and lose constantly, can they just get blown out? I hate the games where they are up or down by a field goal or a touchdown or two all game and still in it at the end just to lose. Just never be in the fucking game so I accept defeat sooner and don't have a tiny sliver of hope.

Missing the playoffs is worse. In college leagues it less exposure and in professional leagues it means you absolutely suck, given how many teams make the playoffs at that level.
