» Vince McMahon was reportedly pleased with Daniel Bryan's performance on last night's premiere episode of WWE NXT as he felt they made him "a star" in one night as a result of his interaction with The Miz and match with Chris Jericho.

LMAO thought this was to funny not to post.

Vince is in his own little world.

why is that funny? You realize the majority of people out there have no clue who he is right? I know who he is, but even I've never seen him wrestle. All I had ever heard about him is a) he can really wrestle and b) he was a horriable talker. What I learned watching NXT is that a) he can really wrestle and b) he needs work but he ain't bad.

You think if they had just put him out there without the Miz and played them off eachother the way they did and had him work with Jericho for his first match he would have gotten over the way he did with the average fan?

I agree with This Guy, fail to see how Vince didn't make him a star. Bryan is not known outside the internet, and even some guys on the net just have heard of him and never seen him wrestle, so Vince is absolutely right

I do not see why people do not like him. Its kinda like cena hate everyone jumps on the bandwagon. Half of the people who say they hate danielson have not even see n wrestle. Hes a damn good wrestler with no charisma. The opposite of hulk hogan then really. But his persona can be worked on whilst with the miz so there we are. In 2 years he will be an awesome wrestler and have an attitude. Problem solved, just give him time people he will become great and will turn his haters in lovers of him.

I'm a danielson fan, but i thought it looked like it seemed like he was just having fun during his promo, and not really "playing a character" very well. Maybe they told him to just go out there and do what you do. I guess i was expecting more of a serioius danielson promo. All in all, things went well for him, but he will have to be careful as far as smiling and laughing after someone slaps you. (unless thats what they want his character to be)

I thought all went pretty well last night. I hadn't seen much of Danielson but I've been trying to catch up on my ROH history and have watched quite a few of his matches in the past few days and he's growing on me a little bit. And seriously, what better of a debut could you ask for then to debut against the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION... who happens to be CHRIS JERICHO...and look amazing in the match? They did a good job with Danielson last night, between the match with Jericho and the interesting interactions with Miz. They actually made me look forward to following this guy. He can speak for himself in the ring, but the problem is that most of the interest was generated by Miz on the mic. Hopefully Danielson will learn a thing or two. Why wouldn't Vince be pleased? He successfully signed and debuted the biggest internet sensation of the past 10 years.

And @ LKP... I think it's quite the opposite. The Danielson band wagon really isn't about hating the guy...for the majority people treat the guy like a wrestling god.

The Miz did a great job. And lets not underestimate Cole's role either. He basically tried to bury him, then by the end of the match he was a believer. I thought it was excellent booking. It's obvious that Danielson is the one they want to focus and if anyone else gets over it's gravy. The dude who was with Jericho has a look and is pretty decent on the mic, everyone else seemed pretty goofy.

Danielson isn't going to be on NXT the entire season. Bank on a Bryan/Miz feud for mania

I don't know about that. I think that the entire point of NXT was to showcase Danielson, probably for the whole season as it gets internet marks watching. I think they will feud on NXT, but definitely not on Mania. Miz & Big Show will probably be having a title defense against multiple teams at Mania.
