-- TNA sent out another text message to fans on Thursday night that they will "unlock the identity of a former World champion from another organization" at the Lockdown PPV this Sunday in Philadelphia, PA.

While surprisingly nothing has been confirmed yet by backstage sources, it’s an extremely safe bet that it’s exactly who everyone has been suspecting it is. Taz is legally allowed to work for whomever he wants whenever he wants, since his WWE contract expired--and was not terminated--he does not have a no-compete clause that would prevent him from working for the competition.

lol, why can't TNA focus on the great talent that they have in the undercard now, instead of hiring 40 year old announcers?

It's good if they get Taz, they're announce team has sucked for so long, if they were to get rid of Don West's fat ass and replace him with Taz I could maybe sit through one of their broadcasts. Maybe.

Oh Jeez...Taz...in Philly? That would be a moment.

Him or RVD...or Sabu...or even Raven. That's what I think.

Lol, why do you even relate Taz to TNA's announce team. If he is indeed coming to TNA, I seriously doubt he'll be calling matches

^^Well he won't be wrestling. He has a neck injury that he would need surgery to fix and then be on the shelf for a year before he can step into the ring. Its a safe bet if Tazz is coming in, its to talk, not to fight.

as for who it is, well who really knows, but I won't be suprised if its someone pretty low on the main event totem pole. (ie. Sandman, Spike Dudly, Sabu, etc) However it could be JBL as well. Either way unless its RVD it won't really mean squat, and I doubt its RVD since he seems to be enjoying just doing side projects and matches.

I'm pretty sure JBL's done with wrestling. Read somewhere that he's doing full-time commentary on UFC now.

Tazz'd be cool as an announcer, but I kind of like Don West, so he'd have to turn into a play-by-play guy and replace Mike Tenay to win me over.

I don't think Taz will be wrestling, but do you think he'll stop commenting in WWE to start announcin in TNA? Hell no. If anything, he will be an on air character or manager, but hell not an announcer.
