On the other hand if Morrison doesn't float your boat I'd say from the current roster guys who could be best built up in the year are:

(List is in no order beyond when I saw their face on the WWE.com roster page)

Matt Hardy
MVP
Chris Jericho (Could easily do it, but I'd still rather not see it even though I Jericho)
Jack Swagger

I don't think I could really buy any one else at this point.

Ya, you know what, I think Jack Swagger really could. I mentioned the other day that I can't wait for a Chris jericho vs Undertaker feud, but, like you, I'd rathe rit not be at Mania. I'd rather whoever faces him at Mania be a young guy, not a guy like Jericho. Jericho/taker could be the Summerslam and Survivor series feud.
Another guy who could face him is Mister Kenn.... Ah, never mind, won't go there
But other than Morrison, who I really hope faces him, I think Jack swagger could have a shot at it. He's grown on me.

He already is. But I was a little surprised no one mentioned Cena as a candidate yet, because he actually is the most likely. How about Orton? Maybe a rematch in which he'll finally win?

I had been thinking of Cena the whole time as well and was wondering if anyone would mention it. If next year will indeed be Taker's last year, then I would absolutely love it if he took on John Cena at WM. I know that Cena seems to be trying to get the Rock for a match at WM, and as great as that would be, it's just not going to happen. With Austin seemingly done with wrestling and Hogan's age and all of the injuries he's had, I don't see much chance of either of them ever wrestling Cena. So the next best thing would be a Cena/Taker match at Wrestlemania. I think more than ever, the possibility of the Undertaker losing would be running through people's mind. I'm not saying Cena should win or lose the match, I just think it would be amazing to see. If this story of the Undertaker having his retirement tour next year in April is true, then this means he won't have his last match at Mania. If this is the case then I don't see him losing next year at WM.

I think it's time for the streak to end. It would be some stupid storyline where the Undertaker's time has come and he must return to Death Valley for good, since it's in Arizona, and I think Death Valley is close to Arizona. (?) I definitely think someone should get the pin on Taker to "banish him" therefore getting the push of a lifetime. Although I don't see any young talent being worthy of beating Taker. It has to be someone accomplished...here's what I am thinking...

1. John Cena (He really doesn't need this type of push though)
2. HBK (A rematch would be epic, HBK getting vengeance banishing Taker and breaking the record)
3. Triple H (he buries everyone)
4. Randy Orton (it's sort of been done, but he needs all he can get since he just keeps losing)
5. Chris Jericho (He's known as the man who beat Austin and the Rock in the same night, so why not be known as the man who broke the streak?)
