UFC 158: GSP vs Diaz

Nick Diaz on paper looks like a genuine threat, but he never fought anybody with the top game of GSP.

This isn't no Strikefarce nobodies like KJ Noons or past his prime needed a check BJ Penn.

I'm hoping this fight mirrors the fight Diaz had with Diego Sanchez, because that was a ground reversal clinic.

I can see GSP/Diaz being a squash match, then Diaz throwing a hissy about being dominated and threatening to retire again (he won't)

Condit/Hendricks is a brilliant fight and Ellenberger/Marquardt should be brutal as hell.

Dana said on Rogans podcast that the Diaz bros have cost him $50k by missing their scheduled Primetime filming. He also said Cesar Gracie asked him to upgrade Nick's plane seats otherwise he'd no-show more media apps.

This is why I hate the Diaz brothers and can't stand UFC pandering to them. This guy is a twat that UFC doesn't need and UFC should call his bluff and just release him. It won't happen but I hope that GSP can finish him.

Is anybody else surprised that Condit seems to be the underdog on most betting markets or same odds as Hendricks at best?

I'm a bit surprised but Hendricks is the golden boy these days by the media. Still don't buy into him yet, he's really beat only one guy that I could be impressed with and that is Kampmann. Fitch is decent, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Koscheck win was questionable and even that isn't that good anymore. This is a huge test for him, major step up in competition compared to Jake Ellenberger.

I'm a little surprised because Hendricks seems to get no love most of the time, everyones always going on about how he's going to lose his next fight, then he knocks them out in seconds and still gets no love.

Diaz was funny as hell when he went off on some rant about GSP being pampered, still got a feeling he's gonna get the fuck beat out of him though.

Diaz calling St.Pierre a motherf***er was priceless. Really pulling for him against GSP, since I'm tired of his title reign. I'll always respect him for the legend that he is, but I'm really bored of him. Diaz being champion would be insane and would be refreshing. Next Saturday night should be insane. I love how Condit and Hendricks talked for 4 minutes, while the other two guys didn't get one question thrown there way.

If there were 20 questions that were asked at today's press conference, 14 must have been for Nick, 2 for GSP, 2 for Dana and 1 for Hendricks. Don't get me wrong all the attention is pretty much on Nick and the fight with GSP, but you'd think that if they were pulling these guys out in to press conferences that it were obligatory that media asked everyone present some questions.
