I never even considered Threads myself bc you were required to have an Instagram account which I did not lol I guess I could have made one at the same time as I would have made a Threads but that felt like an extra step

Threads was a solid concept but ruined by poor management and requiring linked accounts.

I think BlueSky has more staying power especially with programmers and tech people because of the nature of the site and allowing for more creative processes within it.
