Triple H isn't a booker ffs.

Because in character, Shane is a guy who has never backed down from a fight, and is actually a tough guy, despite the fact that he's a non-wrestler
So if I'm a middle aged, fat, out of shape idiot who's matches are only ever half decent because of my big spots, but I 'never back down', I'll beat three in their prime wrestlers, one of whom is the top heel on the show?

At least Vince had believable offense.

^I seem to recall Shane being punted in the head and put out of action, and then brutalized by Legacy a few weeks ago, don't you? That's what I'm saying here. In a few years, no one is gonna remember Legacy running away from Shane once or twice on Raw. If they remember anything, they'll remember them punting the entire McMahon family out of action, and taking the title. Therefore, there's no need to book them as a bunch of brave tough guys, because they'll make their living playing the chickienshit heels (Orton definately will, and I'd bet at least one of the others), so having them run away or get beat up once in a while doesn't matter. It doesn't negatively effct them, because at the end of the day, they're still being booked to do things the majority of people haven't done.

What kind of accomplishment for a World Champion, who is meant to be the best in the world, is putting a non-wrestler without a string of muscle on his body 'out'? Who, by the way, has beaten him down with two others despite his lack of any physical ability. Therefore, they're booking Shane higher than their own World Champion (well, future World Champion since I'm going back before Backlash really)

Getting beat up is fine, if it's believable. Like I said, Vince was, because he was so god damn huge and he always gave himself a massive advantage. If it was Cena, Batista, even MVP, it would kind of make sense, even if it was a three-on-one situation, since that's what face wrestlers have been doing since the dawn of time. But to have the biggest heel on your show beaten down by somebody who's wrestled three matches in the last three years (all of which were hardcore spotfests) really makes them look weak.

I barely recall Shane being beaten down, all I really think of when I think 'McMahons vs Orton' is the initial attack by Shane with his fake punches, fighting most of them of week after week and his repeated ownage with a kendo stick.

Unless I'm forgetting something, the only times that Shane has beat down Legacy was when he was using his kendo stick, or other various weapons, in which case, it doesn't make Legacy look all that weak, because they were beaten up by a guy with the weapon. The times when no one had weapons, Legacy beat down Shane, and put him out of action twice.
Other than that, the main issue was Cena/Batista beating down Legacy, and I still don't see how that's a problem, because havign Legacy beating down Cen aand Batista would be incredibly unrealistic. Cena and Batista beating down Legacy was how it should be.

Hey, maybe they should get Hogan & Nash to book alongside him. Now those two knew how to book a company.

Well i'm biased for 1 thing. But even though. I think HHH would be a good Booker and he would know what the fans would want more than Vince I think that Trips is more in touch with what the fans want than Vince, So id give him chance. I f it didn't work out then whats the harm they could always bounce back. But out of Everyone i see Trips taking some control later down the line. not sure what but He will deffo take control at some point.
