Honestly Joe, I'm biased to Homicide being Puerto Rican like me and a former ROH Champion who Daniel Bryan put over big in his book and when they had a match. But Joe had potential to be their biggest homegrown star. And they always seemed to never strike when the iron is hot with Joe

I feel you being Puerto Rican myself seeing someone like Homicide being World Champion was a moment. Big time ROH fan myself Low Ki, Homicide, and Punk were my favs during the early days of ROH. It pretty sad TNA not understanding what to do with Joe in the later days man everytime I remember when the guy got kidnapped and came back completely different still angers me.

It is crazy to think that Joe was wasted by WWE and TNA. I guess NXT treated him right. Although he was treated well in TNA until The Nation of Violence imo. Joe should've been World Champion earlier. I didn't really like ROH like that unless it was a AJ Styles match oh and when the Hardy Boys fought The Young Bucks Superkick of Honor. And vaya Boricua!

I wonder how many TNA fans tune into NXT weekly vs those who don't... especially compared to NXT fans who tune into TNA weekly. I assume it's quite skewed one way.

Personally, I watch both every week (since Battleground last year). Though if TNA ceased the relationship, I would gladly drop NXT (not because it's bad, funnily enough I think it's been better than iMPACT quite a lot of the time during the last 12 months or so).

I've not kept up with NXT for months now, helpfully they recap the TNA-relevant parts. Really makes these last few months more bearable

Oh interesting, how come you don't watch NXT?

I'm glad you're fine with the recaps. I have a habit of viewing r/squaredcircle through the week so I'd find it very hard to avoid spoilers...

I don't know, I feel like the magic died with the combination of the indies creeping back in and WWE showing themselves for what they are

Yeah, I get you. It would be nice to not be associated with a company like that. Also, I think the world of TNA and think they could thrive on their own. I personally think that if Anthem wanted, they could have suitable TV deals in the US and UK. I think they're holding out for something huge (partly because WWE want to use TNA to hurt AEW). But you know, I'd be perfectly happy if TNA could have got themselves onto a half decent channel in the US and get anything in the UK (they were on Channel 5 before the pandemic weren't they?). 2 hours a week of TNA just being TNA would be so nice.
