Just woke up from an emotional dream. My cousin basically paid me a visit in my dream. He told me he loved me, and he missed me as much as I miss him. It felt so real, I woke up just in tears, and it sucks because I need a bit more sleep, and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get it now.

Just posted it on Facebook (hers and mine) so it's official now. The pain comes and goes. I highly doubt it'll ever go away, I'll just be numb to it.

I've known this was coming eventually but literally we talked about hospice care Thursday morning and she was gone 4 hours later.

This last week hasn't been the best, mentally. Some personal stuff happened that I really don't feel comfortable speaking about (needless to say I am at fault for and am still suffering the consequences for), because of it I've lost the trust and friendship of someone I've been very close to for the last four years.

In September I'm going to be going back on my ADHD medication and trying to become a better person. We're hoping the medication will improve my mood and attentiveness, but if not, a change of job or even attempting therapy will be better for me. It's gonna be a long and painful process but all I can do is survive.

Getting out of a toxic job is good too. That helped me big time.

I have lost the other friendship most important to me, and I just feel this slinking and utter grip of depression.

I feel as though I am Aeneas, the coward Trojan who, instead of watching his city burn, lit the match to destroy it and am now on a long journey to find my own new place in the world. It's scary, to not have my two most trusted friends in the world, but I reap what I sow, and the seas of uncertainty are all I have.

Well, yesterday I saw my doctor, and he's going to refer me to a psychiatrist for ADD/Autism/GAD.

In the meantime, I've been prescribed an antidepressant/mood stabilizer for the next while to see if that will positively affect how I've been feeling lately.
