I try to stay positive, but today was the day I discovered (and I am actually impressed) an album that will probably give me nightmares for weeks to come. However although not my highest rated so far Glow On - Turnstile, is a sound I am very happy to have found. I cant remember which of the three I've listened to that was

Since you said it already, I'll go ahead and say that Cali hip hop is hands down my least favorite regional style. New York, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, Detroit, DMV, Memphis, New Orleans, Philly... give me any of these over Cali 7 days out the week.
Yeah aside from Cube’s stuff I don’t fine myself going back to it at all. When it was huge I did cuz I was a teenager. Cypress is also an exception but they don’t really fit into that g funk style

I can think of a good few exceptions but just the style alone I don't love, and by extension I'm not as big on Snoop, NWA, or even Pac as many people are. It's actually insane that to this day, there are a ton of rappers that come out of the LA area that are using the same exact sound that they had 30+ years ago.

I get it for sure. I think Pac is extremely overrated in his death. Biggie as well tbh. But Pac has definitely been deified posthumously.

Had quite the binge of albums over the last few days, and am now very close to finishing ratings for my 4th one.

I have listened to at least 2 full lists as I worked some midnights this weekend.

Can say I have some albums were great some were mid and some just made me want them to end.

Send me your ratings for those albums you’ve done so I don’t have to enter in so much at once

I want to listen to them again when I am not trying to stay awake and make better choices and not be as critical.
