My God, I certainly hope nobody tries to come away from this thinking I’m transphobic again. I’ve made my opinion on that pretty clear by now. I hope. Being transphobic is not acceptable on here whatsoever. People are who they are.

I don’t know, man it just makes me pretty sad that that there’s even a “can” be justified in celebrating a right wing political commentator but under no circumstances, can it ever be justifiable to celebrate the death of the left-wing political commentator. I think that’s kind of weird.

I don’t mean to lash out you specifically, but it just makes me sad that I come on after I see a tragedy and see this kind of reaction and then when I push back on it even a little bit that’s controversial. I wanted to believe at the very least politically speaking I could just come and say, please don’t celebrate the death of political commentator and that would be agreeable.

I think in this case, by "can" he means like he said, he can't stop it. Just like someone on the right "can" and it can't be stopped. Not that it can be justified.

I certainly don't for the record. My issue is when transphobia is referred to with language such as "different opinions" and equated in conversation with more traditional political items, usually by people such as yourself that don't actually see them as equal. Like you did that one thing that annoys me, but that doesn't make me think your opinion has changed, it's just a thing people tend to do

I’ve seen a couple still images of quotes being attributed to Charlie Kirk, but I’m gonna need to see an actual video of it because I’ve heard many of his speeches and usually he’s pretty clear about announcing violence. If he ever did advocate for violence then I denounce that and him. But I don’t think most of the people that have been talking about Charlie Kirk are basing it on these quotes as it seem most including didn’t even know about them.

I could probably track down some leftist political commentators who advocate for violence, but I would certainly hope if we’re getting to the point of advocating for violence we would be able to agree that that’s bad but even then I don’t know if people would be OK if I celebrate their death.

I’m fairly certain Hassan, the streamer and former member of the young Turks, has advocated for violence on numerous occasions.
