I think you underestimate the amount of independent and third-party voters that do not want to vote trump no matter what, with the exception of the fact that they could clearly see that Joe Biden wasn’t capable of doing the job so they might’ve reluctantly voted for Trump but now that’s no longer the case they will no longer do so.
