Ted or Cody, you decide! (well not really)

Who will be in the main event first, Cody Rhodes or Ted DiBiase? Yes this has been the subject of conversation in another thread, I think Free Flow but I couldn't keep track of everybodies verdict so I added the poll.

I said in another thread that Cody is a weak name. That may be silly to some but Cody Hogan probably wouldn't have worked either.

Cody has the task of filling the shoes of a former World Champion in Dusty Rhodes, Ted has the possibility of exceeding his father who wasn't a World Championship. I think Cody is under a little bit more pressure than Ted so I would really want to see Cody succeed over Ted, especially since most people have such high hopes for DiBiase, I would really like to see Cody stick it to the critics and Ted and exceed him in becoming a successful superstar.

I think they should stay a heel team for a while longer. Maybe until Summerslam and then have it out and do the Morrison/Miz type of deal. Then we'll see who's got the goods.

I am still waiting for the New Legacy to form. Without Orton both Cody and Ted could step up without having to worry about always being overshadowed by Orton. They could import Brett DiBiase and Joe Henning from FCW and really have a badass faction going.

I'd say Ted. I really don't see Cody going anywhere when he's done feuding with Orton and breaks off from DiBiase.

I said it in another thread, Ted will reach the main event before Cody, if he ever does. Cody looks awkward in the ring imo. He doesn't have the LOOK of a main eventer. Ted does. Neither is spectacular in the ring at this point and time but I see a tad bit more potential in Ted. Also Like XBA said, Cody is imo in a bit more of a tougher situation being that his father is Dusty fuckin' Rhodes. I mean don't get me wrong The Million Dollar Man was great and all but he wasn't a World Champion when being a World Champion meant what it did in the 80s.

I hope their feud with Orton doesn't last past Wrestlemania, they're holding Randy back. I think Ted will be in the main event first (if ever) just because he has the look. I think Cody needs to beef up a bit if he is to get to the main event but my heart lies with Cody.

Ive said Ted. But id like Cody to TBH. I think that Ted will be pushed more and probably pushed 1st.

Even though Ted maybe in the ME first. I see Cody over taking Ted and being a better ME'er with more staying power than Dibiase.

I just haven't really seen the big deal with Ted TBH. IMO he hasn't really got any personalty, He is good in the ring. But i dont know i just find him boring.

Cody hasn't made that much of an impact on me either. But i just think he is still a bit unexperienced and he wont be pushed before Ted. So he will develope slower gaining more experience with time. Some point down the line he will find his way and be more successful that Ted.

Ted has the better look and wrestling style and Cody has more charisma and I think is an overall better wrestler than Ted. I think both are main event bound and they are probably both future world champs. Somebody has to step up in the next few years as the older generation begins to fade out, and I think they both got what it takes.

I love XBAs idea of a new faction with Ted and Cody leaders with guys like Brett DiBiase and Henning in the mix. It would make Ted and Cody look even stronger and help bring in even newer and younger talent for the future.
