I pretty much watched all the shows ( except New Blood ), I only need to catch up to August 27th show, which looks solid on the card.

I watched The August 27th Show it might of be in my Top 2 Shows when it comes to The Grand Prix Matches. Poi vs Suzu was just as great as HZK vs Suzu I watched last Week. Suzu gave Poi a shot in that Match I thought for sure she gave her a Concussion. Maika vs Utami, and SK vs Giulia great Matches as well.

I'm physically drained not just because of work today that felt like it went so slow but the 9/11 Stardom Grand Prix Show I just watched. You have Wars in the Show with Suzu and Saya Kamitani, Mayu vs Giulia, AZM vs Utami, well as the Artist, and Goddesses Tag Titles just wow

Yeah when I heard the News this Morning I nearly knocked my Laptop off the Bed in joy. Good to see she's healthy and stays healthy. Now I think Mayu vs Kairi could be the Final because the Story there is perfect for them two I feel. I still need to see the 18th, I think 19th and this Morning Show still but the GP has been a fun watch with some really questionable booking at times with these winners during Matches.

Still catching up on most of the Grand Prix, but God that Starlight Kid v Natsupoi match was so good. I think it was one of the highlights of the tournament. SLK really manages to preform well in high profile matches, and she and Natsupoi have great chemistry together. Hope SLK is rewarded with more matches like this

The match that got me into Stardom (and turned me into an SLK fangirl) was her winning the belt from Natsupoi last year. It's also interesting because Starlgiht Kid has had a number of solid matches this tournament and really has been rising in popularity. She's also still in the tournament, but she needs to win her next two matches (one of them against Mayu Iwatani, oh God I remember last year they basically made a 6 minute match feel like an epic).

I have always had a soft spot for SLK (mainly because I have a soft spot for most masked wrestlers) but I thought she always lacked like that...specific X factor to truly push her you get me. And then her heel turn came and that was like the moment I became fully onboard the SLK hype train. I think she's probably my favourite women's wrestler at the moment. Like cool gimmick, great wrestler, and just a great look, like what more do you need you know.

I saw some clips of Stardom before I started following it properly, nearly started with Hana Kimura (Rest in Peace) but Starlight Kid has improved so much in such a short time. She was already making strides just before the turn, but now she's really come into her own. The largest thing I see is just confidence. She knows her character and is thriving. She can work at a fast pace, still take time to sell or to tell a story, and even if she slips up as it is bound to happen when you're going that fast, she quickly recovers. I even linked an article earlier on in the thread with a poll of the most popular wrestlers in Japan, Starlight Kid is the highest rated Stardom wrestler at 11 in the top 50. In fact, she is the highest ranked female. Like, that is insanity.

Yeah, there were always glimpses of this but the turn was just a move of genius. I think it ranks there with the best heel turns in wrestling history in general, like on top there with Hogan in WCW, Shawn Michaels turning against Jannetty, and Prince Devitt forming the Bullet Club as one of those turns that truly transformed a wrestler into something much greater and interesting. Not to mention that she's obviously a great storyteller in-ring and quite flashy, so no wonder she's been the breakout star in the past year or so
