I was moving in a very 2017 me fashion with music this year, evidently.
Crazy part about the Playboi Carti album featuring on my top albums is that I genuinely only listened to like 3 songs off that album but clearly I was running them into the ground. This was definitely my most rap-heavy year overall since 2019, when I joined Spotify. Usually all my top 5 artists are rappers but my end of year playlist is really saturated with rap, specifically melodic trap and SoundCloud coded shit. I guess I just needed that youthful energy this year, idk.
