More than one source within TNA is claiming that the roster enjoys having Scott Hall around, despite the problems he’s caused for company management. Hall has a reputation for being very generous with his knowledge when talking with younger wrestlers, and there has been serious talk of testing the waters with Hall as an agent. One main event-level TNA star has been very vocal about Hall being qualified for the job, citing his creative input during his WWF and WCW days.

For those unaware, the road agent’s job is to work with the roster in setting up matches and storylines, and relaying instructions to them from the creative team. Road agents in WWE and TNA are usually retired wrestlers, such as Arn Anderson, Terry Taylor, Ricky Steamboat and Jerry Brisco.

With reports coming out after TNA’s Genesis PPV that Hall and Sean Waltman are both relying heavily on pain pills, the duo’s future as on-screen talent in TNA is still up in the air.

I'd like him to still be on TV, he's still a very entertaining character.

I want him to get clean and lose some weight. But if that's not going to happen I still want him around as an on screen character. Hall is the shit.

I just don't get why he can't exercise, honestly. I was sad when they had to sub in Waltman for him at Genesis. He really must not miss wrestling at all.

Don't forget, the guy is 51 years old. I think for him always being close to the 300 pound mark that he looks quite good for his age.

No, he doesn't. He looks terrible and can't even wrestle anymore (again, not sure if he wants to). Just taking a look at Hogan and Nash (who are both older/as old and big guys) should be enough of a wake up call for him and for all of us. Hogan can barely walk and he can still stay in shape, honestly.

Nash has been regularly wrestling from the last 15 years. Hall I wouldn't think has wrestled hardly since TNA in 03ish or whenever. He probably looks "out of shape" because I doubt he expected really to get back into wrestling on a worldwide audience.

I mean that's fine and all and that's why I said I don't get why he just doesn't exercise. If he magically got into shape and started wrestling within the next couple months, that'd be really awesome, but just seems like wishful thinking. Since he's been like this EVERY time he makes an appearance, whether it be TNA or some random indy, which is part of my point. If this was his first appearance, you could say it was 'unexpected' but he clearly is just lazy and doesn't/hasn't done shit in the past many years, so making those type of excuses don't make sense. His promo on Impact was sweet though, and Waltman can still go, so I don't see or want them to leave anytime soon.

Well now Hall is back on prime time. It should give him motivation to work out.
