According to sources including an extremely sad Instagram from WWE ring announcer Justin Roberts, Connor Michalek, the boy affectionately known as ‘Stone Crusher’ who once requested and subsequently tapped out future WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan as his Make-A-Wish wish, has passed away. I considered making that sentence as long as possible so I’d never have to write the end of it.

If you’ve followed Connor’s story, it wasn’t just a meeting. Bryan kept in touch with him, reuniting with him at a WWE Live event. Connor was even in the front row at WrestleMania XXX to watch Bryan win the big one.

Everyone (and I mean absolutely everyone) at sends their condolences to Connor’s family, and he’ll be missed more than we can explain.

Read a tweet last night with someone suggesting Bryan name his knee the Stone Crusher as a tribute.

I'd be perfectly okay with that.

I'd suggest he should find a better move, but this would be cool. Does it even have a name now? Just "lame ass running knee finisher" ?

Well I certainly don't agree on the lame ass part, tons of lamer moves are around.

There was talk during the build up to mania of naming it the "knee plus", to play off of the "B+ player" remarks from the authority. And leading up to the rumble there was talk of it being the Washington Wizard (due to the similarity with a shining wizard). But most still call it the Busaiku knee.

who is most? I've literally never heard or seen it called that lmao

He should stick to only doing the move off the apron to the outside. He isn't big/tall enough to make it look effective in ring on most competitors.

RIP. So sad... :(

Also, I think the finisher IS called the Knee Plus by the WWE.
