Periodic Table help?

Since you guys are smart and awesome, I really need your help with the Periodic Table.

The table is my weakness. I'm failing a lot of stuff because I can't memorize the table.

Can you help me find ways to memorize everything? The Element Song didn't work for me, so did the repetition style.

You can actually do that? I mean, the table has 118 parts, how did it fit into a keyboard?

Have you ever played an MMO? It's all about key mapping and you use Shift and ALT with other numbers. I would open up a word document and for example if I typed "a" instead of a NA would show. and Shift +A would be something else. It's hard to explain but look into key mapping

I'd try memorizing the proton number rather than the table itself.

Maybe I'm in the minority but it was always simpler for me to memorize valence electron shells for each element rather than the table itself


Carry the table with you in your purse, take it out and memorize the proton number and it might work better than you think

That's the theory that I've been testing lately, hope it works. Urrg Prelimniaries' next week and the only thing I know is Hydrogen and Helium.
