I second FMA Brotherhood.

Maybe check out Monster, that's a good one which is super dark. Psycho Pass I think you'd like if you liked Death Note. Akame ga Kill! would be another one. Maybe Boku dake ga Inai Machi as well.

Started watching .hack//Sign again.

By far a much better "trapped inside a MMO" anime than something like Sword Art Online IMO. I've heard Overlord is another one, but haven't checked that out yet.
