A million times this. You had three of the all-time greats, two of them at the top of their game (Sorry, Hunter), a rabid crowd inside the world's most famous arena, and a great match with a clean finish (And the right finish).

And Meltzer is probably extremely strict with his ratings. I definitely disagree with this as much as all of you. Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker was obviously a ***** match and it was a month ago.

WM20 didn't happen last year dude. It was 2004. The Benoit thing didn't happen til 2007. There was 3 years in between, and it was extremely underrated during that time.

Being my radio partner, I am shocked that this is coming from you. I'd figure you would know better than to tie in what happened with a mans personal life with what happened during his professional life.

As for Dave Meltzer, he'd consider every single match in Japan involving Mitsuharu Misawa a 5 star match so fuck his opinion on anything.

"5 Star matches" are always going to be debated, a match that one person thinks is 5 star may not be the considered the same by another. Ratings on wrestling matches, movies, albums, video games anything really can and always will be debated. So fuck Meltzer and his ratings, each person's idea of a 5 star match are just a matter of opinions, I am sure for the most part the IWC has a relative general idea of what a 5 star match is and isn't.
