Owens not a locker room cancer? 3/4 of his teammates hated him. Personally I would take Marvin Harrison or Tim Brown over both. Neither was as flashy and Harrison wasn't a big play receiver but both came to work and got their numbers while helping the team.

Donovan McNabb was not 3/4 of his teammates. And McNabb was always a whiny bitch.

Philly fan who listens to a lot of Sports talk radio and several former Eagles are now on said radio shows.... most of them have now come out against McNabb saying he just hated how much attention T.O got.... mcNabb never got over the fact that 30 fans booed when the Eagles picked him in the draft, he never understood that they weren't booing him, they were booing the pick because everyone in Philly wanted Ricky Williams... so when T.O showed up and was instantly loved by the fans, Donovan became insanely jealous, going as far as to say that it didn't matter whether or not T.O played in the Super Bowl against the Patriots.... Was T.O the best teammate, No... but he was nowhere near the cancer he is depicted to be, especially during his time in Philly

The guy played with one leg in the Super Bowl. Give me a tough son of a bitch like that on my team.

The only reason McNabb and the Eagles organization jumped on his shit was because Owens alledged McNabb "quit" in that same game. And of course the team is going to side with their franchise QB in a situation like that.

Always thought T.O got more flack than he should have. Yeah he had a me attitude for self promotion reasons but same time he wasn't like Moss who would quit on plays because he didn't get the ball and wouldn't block. Guy played hard all the time and was an amazing WR who could beat you deep, strong and fearless enough to go over the middle and get yards after the catch. He really doesn't get the respect he deserves imo and shouldn't have ever been let go from Dallas let alone Cincy where he was playing like a pro bowler.

Dallas only cut him because he was becoming injury prone and they were trying to get younger. Same as Cincy with he and Chad. Dallas also foolishly believed Roy Williams could replace him. His stint in Buffalo wasn't very good either but nothing about Buffalo was very good that year. He got dealt a bad hand his last 3 years. I'm still confused as to why Seattle cut him though. I find it hard to believe Sidney Rice outplayed him.

I'm confused as to why they signed him in the first place considering they knew they were a young team. T.O didn't fit Seattle at all neither did he with Buffalo. That is true about Cincy just kind of sucked since he played so well for them. Dallas however I think they should have stuck with him. He just fit Dallas so well. Philly Mcnabb should have just got over it and worked it out with T.O as they were a awesome combo.

McNabb claims he is a Hall of Fame QB, which he isn't, but if he would have been man enough to share the spotlight with T.O and have his back when T.O wanted a new deal (which McNabb did for Westbrook a mere 2 years later) he might very well be.... At the time it all went down most of us Philly fans thought it was all T.O (because of Rosenhaus and the stupid situps in the driveway crap) but we've all learned since how insecure McNabb was and it's amazing how many former players have now come out and confirmed all the stories that came out about McNabb that Super Bowl year (ie.. vomiting in the huddle during the final drive of the super bowl)..... Back on track here, Owens was a diva and an ass but the dude left everything he had out on the field and only got pissed because he knew his team was better when he had the ball in his hands

Very happy for Adrian Peterson winning MVP and OPTY. He deserved it.

The only thing I disagreed with was RGIII winning ROTY. That was Russell Wilson's award.

Is this going to be the thread for the Superbowl tomorrow?

I am thinking of watching it tomorrow. Haven't watched one since 2009 when the Cardinals lost to the Steelers, I was watching because I was hoping to see Ben Graham be the first Australia to win a Superbowl. I don't have a team but I think I have to do the Australian thing and support the underdog in Baltimore.

I feel like i should be rooting for the 49'ers cause I've been rooting for every team that has been going against the Ravens and the Ravens have won every to this point and i really want LEWIS to get that ring.
