^I was typing it and you beat me to it...lol

A stagnant IC title reign and a string of losses to Drew is hardly steam.

I meant a singles career that is going steady at the moment. I think going back into a team may slow him down. I know hes not hot right now but hes not cold either.

At least as a singles guy he'll have a better shot at being pushed. Tag teams in the WWE never last long unless they have a D and a X in their name.

I lol at stories like this, it's good for him that he is coming back but really is he going to make a big difference in anything? No. And why does everybody expect him to join back up with Morrison?

Morrison is at the highest point in the card he's ever been, he's having a better IC Division run than his first one with the likes of Jeff Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, and Carlito. He's fairly over and a front runner for MITB which = Main Eventer.

Mercury will come back to TV, be semi-recognized and fade into jobber's hell. Ask Chris Masters what he thought he was coming back to.

Another thing I thought of who necessarily said he is coming back to wrestle? I heard he had retired awhile ago and whos to say that his return is an in-ring return?

But honestly I would love to see a M&M reunion/feud. Honestly, right before he was fired I thought a Nitro/Mercury feud was in the works, it could be somewhat interesting but at the same time JoMo is nothing special imo, just another mid-carder the IWC is totally gaga over and wishes that they will get the main event push to become the next big WWE star but it never really happens (Benjamin, Matt Hardy, Carlito etc.)

But, I do think that he can be a big star in the main event, I mean a few years ago who woulda thought Jeff Hardy would have became the 2nd most popular WWE wrestler? But honestly I think JoMo's main event push is still a year away. I think The Miz and possibly even Kofi are slated to main event over him and God forbid more then two new main eventers a year

This ^^

Kids won't remember him unless they re-watch when his face started leaking like a fountain in that TLC match. He rocked the Rip Hamilton mask for a bit and that's pretty much sums up his career including his tag title reigns.

They shouldn't be put back together, Morrison will continue wowing crowds with his gymnastic moveset while he stays stale on the microphone.

The last thing Morrison needs is another set back to becoming main event. They already delayed it by giving him the IC title when he was defeating the World Champion (Punk) on SD.

I hope they don't go putting Mercury in any type of ladder match lol

Joey Mercury won't be anything special, I never really thought much of him in his 1st WWE stint and he was pretty meh in ROH as well.

I'd like to see Mercury as a solid heel midcarder on Smackdown or ECW. I always saw some potential in him and I thought he'd get pushed after the MNM split up.

He will get one or two PPV matches upon return, then slip into obscurity.

^^^^That's a mid-card push by today's standards.

Most guys get "You just debuted and you're NOT over already????? ....GTFO!"

When's the last time anyone was so much as brought in with a storyline?

Sweeeet Joey Matthews (Mercury) is great. I did read though that he retired in like 2008 but I guess he's out of it now. Great to see him back
