FOLEY NEWS - Regarding him possibly being part of the TNA roster

It has been known for a few days that Mick Foley, via the Gillepsie Agency, would announce plans for his pro wrestling future on Wednesday.

If a F4WOnline.com report is accurate, that announcement will be the signing of a short-term deal with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

Though specific details remain unclear, the report says that Foley's term with TNA will begin in the immediate future.

The full announcement will release on Wednesday.

A bit of Lesnar MMA news -

-- Jim Ross comments about the upcoming Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Couture fight in his latest blog entry. J.R. writes: “Informed sources have told me that Couture wants to have three more fights in the UFC and then retire. Couture will give up approximately 50 pounds to Lesnar come fight time which makes the 5 rounder especially intriguing.”

Shawn Michael's surgery situation

- - WWE has confirmed that Shawn Michaels will NOT need surgery following his triceps tear that occurred during the Raw taping this past Sunday night. He WILL be wrestling Chris Jericho at Unforgiven this Sunday night, and when asked about the injury, Michales was quoted as saying “before the MRI my doctor was 99.9 percent sure that I had a full tear of my triceps and that I would experience bruising, swelling and a loss of my range of motion. Through the power of prayer, none of those things happened and I am ready for Unforgiven. Regardless of what the MRI revealed, I made it clear that I was going forward with this match.”

Shawn Michaels is ripped apart (no pun intended), he has a torn tricep, messed up knees, a messed up back, bruised ribs. As much as I like the guy, I think it might be time for him to hang up the boots. Oh and about the Mick Foley signing, but does TNA really need him? Lets just hope that Mick doesn't end up as a full time wrestler

I still think there is some gas left in HBK's tank but it iss running low. He needs to refuel and get back on track.

Give him some time off, a bit like what they did with The Undertaker. He will be back and better than ever if he just takes a break!

(I hope you all liked my car metaphor in the first paragraph, lol)

Even with a minor injury, I don't know if HBK will be 100% for this match. This build up deserves 100% from each man, it won't be as good as it was supposed to be.

Three-time WWE Champion Mick Foley allowed his contract with WWE to expire on August 31, 2008. WWE and Foley have mutually agreed to sever businees ties at this time as the former SmackDown announcer pursues other opportunities.
