Yep it's been 17 years since I went to that double screening of Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk and I still remember the pop when Tony Stark showed up in the latter's post credits scene.
Look at the MCU now, full of terrible Disney + shows, lackluster fourth and fifth phases and about to be rebooted.

Thank goodness Gunn got to finish his Guardians trilogy and gave us one of the best movies in the MCU before he fucked off to DC.

well phase 1 and 2 made sence when it was about main heel thanos getting the stones the somewhat origins of the stones and how the mcu heels and faces began there stories same with phase 3 and 4 but also was about main heel thanos plan to delete half the galaxy and the aftermath of the half galaxy deletion

althought phase 5 and 6 should have been about the original storyline about the multiverse with the original main heel kang and how it was gonna be him and his different verisons who was gonna delete the mcu multiverse and also i think the rest of the multiverse

I'm still pissed at the decision making early on with Kang. You introduce him officially in the Ant Man film and he loses a fight with Antman with all those big Ants helping him. If you wanted to make Kang a big bad you kill off Ant Man and the Trailer got me because you saw Ant Man's Helmet messed up but yeah beyond what happened with Majors even if he didn't have his issues I don't know how can you recover from that. Even in Loki Season 2 if felt like a tease with a variant of him I wanted to see more from him. Hopefully with Doom he rips out Thanos Spine etc and it lays the groundwork for what we need to see from him.

Sound about right he needs a big kill early. Thanos KOing Hulk, killing Loki, and kicking Thor's ass was the right move and set the tone. Imagine if he kills Kang and kills a Hero or two man that is sending chills up my Arms just thinking about it.

And since they want to get rid of Kang because of all the turmoil around the actor, it would be a good opportunity to do it without pretending he never existed.

I would just show the outside of that area where all those Kangs were and just have Doom blow up the entire planet from afar. don't even have to show the kang characters.

They could do that and then have a shot of Doom killing one of the stronger Kangs we saw before and I'll be happy with that. They already messed up Gorr the God Butcher for me please don't mess this up with Doom Marvel please.
