The Wrestling Observer is reporting that TNA eventually has plans to turn Taz and Samoa Joe babyface and reveal that they were only teaming with The Main Event Mafia to outsmart them and attempt to thwart their power. These plans are only rumored at this time and if they do take effect it won't be for quite sometime.

Im face, no im heel, no im face, NO IM HEEL!!

Wow.....this is why I don't watch TNA. It never makes any fucking sense.

That is stupid. It is. Why would you turn Joe if you already are planning on turning him face quickly? Pointless. It would make sense if he sided with the Mafia if he was going to get the belt from Kurt then turn face, but if he did this for nothing, than yes...it was pointless.

So what's going to be the reason for Joe handing Angle the title at Slammiversary?

Joe:A lot of people are wondering why I allowed Kurt to win the TNA title. You see, I did it... for the lulz.

LMAO...as long as this bring about another FAT tyrade by Steiner I'm all for it.

sadly though if the rumor is true its the only logical reason for him to join the mafia. I mean think about it. He joined Mafia for the money because there main eventers so that he could step out of the World Title picture even more and step back into the X-Division? Yeah right.

I love how when there's a crazy rumor about WWE, everyone tries to say its 100% bullshit. But with TNA, you all go crazy. Funny stuff.

That's because in TNA, this kind of rumors are more likely to happen, where with WWE rumors and reports are try to cover up with "...but you know with Vince Mcmahon plans will most likely change". I mean, didn't this exact same thing of I'm a face, now a heel, now a face thing just happened with Mick Foley?

Exactly.

^ lol

Mick Foley's gimmick is that he can change from week to week. Did you hear what Jarrett's been saying week after week on iMPACT!? "Mick Foley is one of the most unique men in our business. You never know if he'll show up as the chair swinging crazy bastard, or the executive shareholder". That meaning, Foley can either be the chair swinging crazy guy (heel), or the executive shareholder (babyface). So, to sum it up, Foley's gimmick is that he's unpredictable, almost like an alter ego.

Samoa Joe and Taz don't use that type of gimmick.

"exactly."

That's just a lame excuse to have Foley work face or heel. Just because it has some explanation on air doesn't mean it makes sense. And even going with that, is completely different to have two different personas than to be a heel or face at the same time. Rather interesting you are justifying this Foley deal now when not so long ago you even created a thread stating that the turning thing made no sense whatsoever.

Oh, and of course Samoe Joe and Taz don't have that gimmick. Did I justify their turning face/heel/face with that? I find this whole situation utter stupid.

EDIT: Oh, and Foley wasn't exactly a chair swinging crazy guy as heel. He was practically a comedy act wanting to defend his belt once a year. He went hardcore once in a while, but not as often in a way that would mark his character

Alright here is where it makes sense. They get inside the MEM gain there trust right. Then slowly you kill them from the inside.

I could see it going like this. Mick Foley sets up matches at BFG where Scott and Booker T put there belts on the line. That night have some kind of tag team Battle Royal. Have Beer Money or MCMG's win it(since both teams are TNA ORIGINAL's)

Then have the same thing the next week but for the TNA Title. Pull the thing where both AJ and Joe go over the top rope at the same time and Mick makes it a three way. Why do it like that you ask. Because if you just make it Kurt vs Joe then the the turn will happen at the start of the match or before the PPV. If you have it a Triple Threat then well yeah you see what happens.

At BFG we will see Kurt vs AJ vs Joe for the TNA World Title. During the match at some point when Angle is about to win. Joe turns on him and either him or AJ wins the belt(as long as the MEM gets destroyed who cares who has title...storyline wise....) With them now being without a belt they start to lose there power and pull around the place and slowly the MEM dies.

That's good and all but, wouldn't that make Samoa Joe look like a complete tool? I mean, he gives Kurt Angle the belt instead of winning it for himself (I understand why it was done, I am just speaking of how it looks as in general) and his way of getting back is giving the belt to AJ Styles?

When did I ever make that thread? When someone's two different personas are that of a heel and a face, wouldn't that justify them flip flopping every few weeks? Consdering, one persona is a heel and the other is a face? Lets also keep in mind that Foley is in this position because of the Jarrett situation, he's basically taking Jarrett's place in the MEM/Originals feud for now.

My problem is people jump on TNA immediately without questioning whether or not the rumor is false, like they do with WWE. Your argument is that in TNA its different, due to Mick Foley turning every week. I'm trying to make Foley look like an exception, because I believe his character warrants switching between heel/face often. You may be right, I may be right, but the fact still remains that this news story is a RUMOR, and nothing more. It isn't confirmed, and it may not even happen. I don't get why I'm the only one questioning it.

A crazy rumor is "The Brian Kendrick being fired was a work to get peoples guards down and he will be coming back to win the WWE Title from Randy Orton"

"TNA doesnt know how to fucking book properly" NOT so much of a stretch..

Directly from your thread "So Mick Foley's a babyface again?":

I don't see why TNA keeps flip flopping Mick Foley from face to heel every single week. Before Victory Road he was a heel who wanted to defend the World Title just once a year, now he loses the belt and turns babyface again. He turned like 4 times this year already, I understand his character is that of a crazy bastard who has some problems, but that gives the writers no excuse to turn the guy every week. What do you guys think of him main eventing Victory Road against Kurt Angle? I think the match could be good if they add a no DQ stipulation, if not, Angle's gonna need to work his ass off to carry Foley to a good match.

That is because reports about TNA become a reality that much frequently. When was the last time a report about WWE became true? I am not seeing HHH vs Cena at Summerslam. I am not seeing Jeff Hardy not signing a contract extension and leaving after Night of Champions. I am not seeing Mike Knox become a pushed priority in Smackdown. I didn't see Ric Flair come back as Raw's GM.

In TNA, virtually every report comes true, even the wildest (Jarret/Angle situation.
