If or when Jericho and Edge feud...

Few questions here just to check some people's opinions...
-If they feud, does there need to be a distinct heel and face? Or can they both portray heels, and become tweeners, with the fans choosing who to cheer?
-If someone has to be a face, who should it be?
-When would you like to see it? Summer, or Wrestlemania? Or maybe in between (Survivor to Rumble)?

Just give your opinions on some of that...

As for me...
1-I think it'd be very interesting to see a heel vs heel or tweener vs tweener feud...
2-Probably Jericho. I think and Edge face turn would be intriguing, but who knows... For this feud, I'd prefer heel vs heel anyway, but if someone has to, probably Jericho, as he did it most recently, and if he goes back to the Y2J, Highlight Reel, Rock N Roll, cool guy, Jericho, it's easy to alternate between heel and face anyway.
3-I actually don't know when they could do it. The summer, by all indications, will probably be Edge vs Punk. Wrestlemania will probably be either Edge/Taker or Jericho/Taker... I guess that only leaves the Surivor Series-Royal Rumble time, which is fine by me, but it'd be better on a huge stage like Mania or Summerslam. But the feud would be great no matter when it happens...

I'd love to see a heel vs. heel feud. And with these two, there's so much potential for them both to draw incredible heat all throughout the match, not even having to be cheered, but not being uninteresting.

If one had to be face, I'd say Jericho. I personally don't want to see Edge as a face. I wouldn't not like the guy if he was a face, but he's too good as a heel IMO, and he still draws crazy heat. It's not like he's going to have to be pushed face because people are cheering for him no matter what he does like Triple H... he gets booed no matter what he does. I just think he's the better heel of the two, and Jericho's face character vs. Edge's heel character would be FAR more intriguing.

And I hope to see this one happen around fall, maybe culminating at Armageddon. I hope the Rey/Jericho feud draws out a little bit. Also want to see Edge vs. Hardy and Edge vs. Morrison before-hand so Edge gains a bit of momentum and even more heat. Then if Jericho takes the strap off of Edge as a face, we could see Punk turn heel and feud with Jericho (if only).

I don't see them ever having this feud. I can't see them turning either guy face anytime soon, and a heel vs. heel feud just isn't going to happen. There are enough guys on SD! for them to feud with that they don't need a feud between the two of them. If by some chance it does happen, my guess would be that Edge would turn face since he's been a heel for I think about 5years now, and Jericho just turned heel last summer.

I think that they shold do this at Summerslam. Punk can cash in his MITB at any time so he need not have a proper feud with Edge.

I would say Edge. At times, Edge have shown tweener or face characteristics, and I actually felt sympathy when he lost his title at Mania. Jericho is way way too hated right now, they should not waste that heel heat.

No, I also think they won't feud. In my book, heel vs heel feuds just aren't meant to happen, and in the long run, crowd would force one of the two to unnecesary turn or get bored with the feud, because as of now people are pretty vocal in their reactions during their segments, however, seeing how feuds are always heels doing bad things to the faces and the crowd railing behind the faces to get revenge, they'll eventually get bored or just won't cheer for someone, who acting as the heel he is, will insult them.

I just don't see a way in which heel vs heel would work. They'd need to turn one of them and turning either Edge or Jericho just for the sake of this feud just isn't worth it.

Id love to see these guys feud, but i think the odd match here and there for the star of smackdown guy it will be over. They will both play the heel but edge will always get the cheers. Jericho is so far over as a heel and edge looks as if he could turn face soon but wont. Id have them arguing a lot in the ring or backstage about who's show it is and finally teddy long makes a ppv main event for the title at say Night of champions and it finishes in a no contest due to punk trying to cash in of Jeff hardy making an appearance. It makes it more fun then anything raw is doing. That is the thing also about smack downs guys everything seems unpredictable and Raw's is Predictable.

-I think the crowd would ultimately favor one of the two...most likely Edge...therefore turning him at least tweener.
-If there is a face in this one I see it being Edge.
-I have a feeling that once this whole Edge/Vicky thing is called back to finally be wrapped up we're going to see Edge turning face as a result of it... so if they are planning to do Jericho/Edge it'll probably happen then.

2 heels could play to the crowd INCREDIBLY! For everyone saying heel vs. heel couldn't work... have 'em start it immediately after a PPV, and then if one of them is being cheered excessively, throw a face in there and make it triple threat... but...

...we're not talking about someone who is close to being face in either guy. When Edge speared Big Show, I happen to remember him catching some massive heat even though he did just spear Cena as well... but roll with me.

Jericho comes out wanting his shot at the title, Jeff Hardy comes out wanting another shot. They both end up attacking Jeff trying to put him on the sideline (seeing as he wants to take a break anyways). They would both have incredible heat. Teddy comes out and announces the match at the PPV, and anytime the crowd acts up and starts cheering, give a mic to either or both guys and let 'em play to the crowd (because they're the best heel micmen in the WWE right now). Run 'em through a series of matches leading up to the PPV with guys like Rey and Taker (hint at the possible feuds later on ), and have the other come out in these matches attacking the faces in order to stay over and confuse the crowds.

They'd both draw such incredible heat but still sell tickets on a respect-the-star basis alone. The staredown to start that match would be so noisy with boos you'd almost think heel Rock had returned... ALMOST.

And shit, it's not like the crowd's going to cheer either guy for history just because they cheer for 'em in the match. They already get cheers when they're fighting Cena anyways and still get heat. And with these two, their egos could have 'em competing to see who of the two is the top heel on Smackdown.

That shit could definitely work...

I'd like to know at what point, not in your imagination of what will happen, but on the actual shows, WWE has given you an indication of Edge turning, because I'm sorry, I have seen none.

I had been wondering if Edge is turning face or if people just hate Jericho more. Anyhow it's probably not impossible for Edge to turn face, but still retain heel tactics. He has enough fans that it could probably done. Austin wasn't your typical face...he had a lot of heel like tactics, but the people loved him because of that fact. I think Edge could probably encompass both as well.

On the first Smackdown where the draft was in effect people wanted to cheer Edge so bad when he came out to interrupt Jericho. You could tell he had to resort to taking a dig at Cena to stop himself from getting a pop and retain some heat.

I don't think its over yet with these two guys at all. Like i said before either a summerslam build up to their match or they will always bicker and argue and be forced to tag up.
