yeah I was so caught up in the MCU at the time and I watched both in theaters opening night and then again after, I'm happy to have loved it and if nothing like that happens again in my life that's fine with me

in the grand scheme of things they probably aren't the best movies but man what a ride at the time.

I'll never forget the gasps when black panther gets disgusted in infinity war bc he was the first "main character" to, before that it was side characters and then after him a lot of heavy hitters dusted away

I think both still hold up great IMO but maybe that's just my own fandom bias. A lot of the others I think I rate lower now tho but not the tops
