No worries. Again, I can see why he's super divisive, especially nowadays.Comrade Khan said:See I felt the same, loved his return in aew, hated his exit, got too personal and hated him, got over it, but then then saudi and corporate boot licking stuff just...it's hard for me to respect him anymore, especially as a fan of punk rock and the punk rock lifestyle. he just kind of feels like a phony to me and it's ruined the fantasy for me if that makes sense? sorry to rant lol, trying to state my opinion in a respectful and non attacking manner lol
still, I will say he is an excellent wrestler, and excellent storyteller in and out of the ring, a legendary promo and loves the sport in his own way. also I respect his love for dogs.PhantomStar said:No worries. Again, I can see why he's super divisive, especially nowadays.
This is fair. I barely followed, but the Hangman/Mox feud this year was better than a lot of stories i remember from WWE this year. At the end of the day, though, different dtrokes for different folks, yk?Comrade Khan said:see for me I don't think WWE's storylines are overly great or impressive, and I have liked some of the aew storylines a lot this year. I would like MORE good storylines in both
This is exactly how I thinkJimmy King said:As a Punk fan I used to let the criticisms get to me but now idc anymore because it doesn’t change how I feel about him. I can understand why some people feel differently about him and that’s okay
they tell stories differently to different audiences as well. and that's not to say aew has not had its fair share of misses. they just seem to have been getting better and killing shitty storylines these days instead of letting them keep goingPhantomStar said:This is fair. His pop at Survivor Series 2023 still gives me chillsComrade Khan said:truly one of the best on the mic to ever do it, has probably the craziest pop of a return ever, maybe twice
Unironically this is the most healthy conversation I've been a part of with other wrestling fans LMAOO-Blaze said:I love seeing healthy wrestling discussion going on![]()
