I told you when I downloaded 2k25 a few months ago it took me like 2 hours to get into a real game that wasn't a weird story thing lol

I don't know how or why because I've played the 2k25 story and it's pretty quick to get into the games I'd say

I was skipping the cutscenes though actually because I got the game kinda late and so I had no interest in properly playing the story

Then why would you play story mode?

they force you to start in it before you can get to the main menu as a tutorial that feels more about influencing than basketball

But also the story mode is where you take control of just one guy instead of playing as a full team which is usually more fun with or without the story elements they add that usually make it less fun

I don't know how or why because I've played the 2k25 story and it's pretty quick to get into the games I'd say

first you have that dream sequence game then you have a million meetings before the first game it was ridiculous lol the only other thing I did was get sidetracked in the high school memory game stuff which just made me mad too but that was my fault lol

I did like that the map was navigable by skateboard tho

I love when sports games have a good RP mode playing as one character, it's usually what I go to over controlling a team as a coach or something. But I feel like they just haven't been good at it since like Madden 07

Ah, i did that with one of the baseball games on ps4. It basically would sim the entire game until i was up to bat or the ball came to me

Then why would you play story mode?

the story mode and your MyPlayer, who you use in online modes, are intertwined. So you can do your career/story mode if you want, or you can just wander around the city and get into games against people.

yeah that's one of my favorite ones but also the most repetitive bc there's so many games lol but the quick sim helps there
