So I'm just barely working the last two months of the year lol

i just take a lot of long weekends

and impromtu days off when im just too fucking depressed and tired

It's also kind of works out bc I don't like missing a full week anyway just bc I'm the only one that does some of the things I do so if I miss a week, its frustrating getting caught back up that first day. So doing 4 day weeks consistently with one being wfh has been great

im just a cog so my absence is somewhat meaningless. but it does mean more email backlogs when i get back yeh lol

i for sure thought i was getting downsized and maybe i still will but now theres talk of "do we have enough agents" and me and my coworker being "super agents" wtv that means so maybe not. hopefully we have more time till the ai takes over fully

There's always a chance for me bc I feel like the people making the decisions don't really research what people do anyway but I feel a lot safer bc all of my superiors don't want to look at my stuff and are happy with how I handle it by myself lol

Genuinely if I was fired I'd probably find more humor in it than anything thinking about the disaster it would cause them and I don't think it'd take me long to find something, might even pay better too bc I'm staying at this place for the personal freedom, not the salary

i was pretty down last few months, shit was hard to learn and not feel doom. thankfully feel like im over the hump and am getting there now though and can do most things competently
