One of my favorite stories involving that song. The CMA's cut George Jones time at the Awards show, a fucking legend of country music. Like he was going to just get a little bit of time, wouldn't get to perform the whole song. So he just decided not to even go. Alan Jackson, during his performance of his song Pop a Top, mid song just switches to performing Choices. Afterwards he walks off stage, to his bus, and left.
