Rumor has it xbox is removing the restriction to have gamepass to play online

That would be really funny if they did and PS kept theirs bc it was the opposite originally until PS came out with Plus but it does seem like Microsoft is going that open route

I can get Microsoft flight simulator on PS5 now and that's pretty crazy

I'd like it as I can only play free games online right now.

Yeah it says with the rumors that xbox’s next console will basically be a pc with xbox and steam on it they cant really charge for the online otherwise people will just buy the steam version every time

That's why I loved having my desktop to game on. Being able to play online without having some sort of service

I bought final fantasy 16 on Xbox and its cool that i can play it on pc too and get xbox achievements

Tbh it's never really bothered me as much as I thought it would even though I hate the concept on principal but anytime I get into gaming enough to care about playing online, I've already bought PS Plus bc i care about the free games more than the online play anyway but I'm just not as big of an online players anyway
