Elijah Burke going to be wrestling at a local indy called BCWA (competition to clash from this site) . Kind surprised they signed such a big name, and he wasn't all that expensive from what i hear. He is running a wreslting clinic on saturday and wrestling sunday at superslam 7 on easter for BCWA.

I probably can't make the show, but i can probably get some updates about Elijah next week.

Elijah Burke is a class act and a nice guy. I was a member of his forum and he responded to all our questions and he seemed very honest and polite. I remember seeing him saying he wouldn't charge some promotions to much money to appear. Good on the guy i like Burke and thought he was a good worker and good on mic. I so wish i could go to that show but i cant im skint and cant go anyways lol.

Seriously, why would he charge a lot of money? He's tenure in WWE wasn't exactly mindblowing, and there are a lot of bigger names in the indies.

It's all about value....your stock is high after leaving the wwe. Your considered a "superstar" You should get paid more than other talent, thats never made it to the big time. fans pay to see superstars.

Exactly, and the fact that WWE let such a class act go is a darn shame. He sounds like a real kind hearted person who is in it for the business and not himself. Like a lower card version of John Cena, they should hire him back and give him a second shot.

Burke deserves a truck load of money the way he wrestles but he is so nice he is not charging the earth.

Burke should wrestle in the UK

I want to see him wrestle so bad

People need to stop creaming over Burke imo. Sure, he's a nice guy, but since when has being a nice guy got you a career in WWE?
