The 2nd event of 1995 for ECW is meant to celebrate the career of the legendary Terry Funk who appears in front of the crowd during a mid-show ceremony. This show is headlined by a match between Sabu and his uncle The Sheik, embroiled in a bitter feud in which The Sheik questions his nephew's ability to follow in his footsteps.

Despite the show being themed around The Sandman, he works the opening match against Raven in a Street Fight as the main event features Cactus Jack, who just won back the ECW title from Shane Douglas, grant the franchise a rematch for the title. Earlier in the day, Konnan promoted a special indy show in the ECW Arena that featured ECW matches which would drastically alter the complexion of this card, starting with Taz unexpectedly dropping the ECW World title to Rey Mysterio Jr after interference from Sabu while the Gangstas dropped the ECW tag titles to Public Enemy. As a result, the Rey Mysterio Jr vs Eddie Guerrero match is now for the ECW World title while the Public Enemy vs Pitbulls match is now for the ECW World Tag Team Championship. In a rematch of the previous night at the Flagstaff Ballroom, Shane Douglas puts his ECW TV title on the line in a Ladder Match against 2 Cold Scorpio
