Randy Savage (c) w/Miss Elizabeth vs Bad News Brown (WWF World Heavyweight Championship-10/10)
Hell yeah, love to see this finally make tape after weeks of fun promos. Randy rushes him for something new for News, and the big man is sent running for the first time in his WWF run. News uses Li to goad Randy to the floor and then chops him in the throat and beats the shit out of him, and we get some wonderful Savage selling right off the bat. News shows he can hang as a big scary brusier beating up the champ as he lays down a hell of a beating. Savage fights from underneath as News keeps shutting him down and hitting him worse and harder. NEWS HANGS HIM UPSIDE DOWN AND HEADBUTTS HIM IN THE GUTS TO DROP HIM ON HIS HEAD. GODDAMN. News stays on him and shuts down a few attempted comebacks, but he never actually goes for the pin as he's too wild. Randy ducks the Blaster and backdrops him to the floor and hits the axe handle and then another on the inside. They brawl on the outside where News uses Liz as a shield and throws her at Randy, and runs back in to win by countout.
**3/4

Post match, News steals the title and parades around with it until Savage runs in and attacks to him to get it back.

WWF Superstars of Wrestling
October 15th, 1988
Indianapolis, IN

Match#1 Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan vs David Isley

Another good 60 second for Rude as he gets screwed for time again. He wins with the RA.
*

Post match, Rude kisses another woman.

WWF Update-
-Gene covers the latest WWF Magazine and all the happenings as of late.

Match#2 The Blue Blazer vs Joe Cruz
Sick 3 minutes from Owen as he breaks out his wild array of offence that still stuns Jess and Vince, and the crowd is white hot for all of it. Owen hits the tope to the floor to crush the kid against the steel rail, and then follows up with the Moonsault to win
**

Match#3 The Big Boss Man w/Slick vs Jim Evans
Jesse lays right into Vince as a born again republican that should adore law and order, and Vince is left scrambling to give him a proper response and can't find one. Anyway, this is far too short in a bullshit call for our Boss, and now i'm mad. He wins with his Slam.
1/2*

Post match, Boss cuffs and beats his ass.

WWF Events Center-
-Bravo for sure says words along with Frenchy.

Mr Perfect plays chess perfectly.

The Hart Foundation debut their proper theme.

Match#4 The Hart Foundation vs Rick Gantner & Tom Stone
HF now get 3 minutes in another tremendous squash. Anvil throws a kid into the corner and Bret murders him with a dropkick right to the face to knock his head off, and then Anvil batters him with elbows!!. They keep doing great stuff, and it's just another one that everyone needs to watch and enjoy. The boys with a gross looking Hart Attack.
**

WWF Events Center-
-They now replay Bobby's promo about how big Andre is.

Bobby and Taylor come out to the ring where Bobby formally changes his name to THE RED ROOSTER. LMAO HOLY SHIT.

Match#5 The Red Rooster w/Bobby Heenan vs Lanny Poffo
Bobby coaches and yells at him a lot to not fuck this up, and Rooster puts for a fine little angry squash. helps that Poffo is more than willing to eat tons of shit to make it work, but Rooster holds his end up to his credit. Rooster wins with his bad looking Deathlock.
*1/2

The Brother Love Show-
-Duggan runs out like a big jerk, so Love rightly points out that he doesn't love his country or flag like Mr Bravo does.
-Hack gets very grumpy and yells, but Bravo comes out and stares him down as Love sings his praises. Bravo says Hack and America both STINK, and Duggan tells him to leave it like a bully. Hack gets his board and chases them off the stage and leads a USA chant.

Match#6 Ron Bass vs Mike Richards
Short and not much as Bass is sort of bad and lazy now that he's stuck with Beefcake, and yeah fair enough. He wins with the pedigree.
1/2*

Post match, he uses Betsy to hang the kid.

Match#7 Hercules vs Barry Horowitz
Babyface Herc is dogshit as he was a heel, so this is really bad. Ted has a cut in swearing revenge on his slave not working for him. Herc wins with his rack attack.

Louisville, KY

Match#1 Akeem w/Slick vs Bob Emery

Sweet 2 minutes for the now fat long haired dancing man. i miss OMG, but he's still fucking rad and makes it work through force of dance. Akeem wins with the 747 and a massive splash.
**

Mean Gene-
-Jake Roberts is the guest this week.
-Jake repeats the last 4 months of promos against Rude, and no new ground is broken there. He at least says he's going to bring his wife to ringside with him from now on so she can slap Rude after he DDT's him.
-PLEASE end this feud.

Match#2 Ted DiBiase w/Virgil vs David Isley
Ted also gets 2 minutes and is still a violent pissed off squash guy, and i assume it stays this way until he gets broken down and stops giving a shit. He batters the kid on the floor and in the ring, and it's wonderful. Heenan says Hercule needed to shut up and be happy, but he's an idiot. Ted wins with the MDD.
**

Post match, he shoves the cash in the kids mouth.

WWF Events Center-
-Ron Bass is going to choke and break Brutus' awful head of hair with the help of Betsy.
-Hercules is very sad at being let down by Heenan after helping him for so long. He's no man's slave and will get revenge on everyone.

Match#3 The Rockers vs Bubba Kirk & Tom Burton
Little under 2 minutes for the boys this go, but still a lot of killer work as they're hyped and on fire and go wild with all the big hits. Shawn gets it done with a splash off Marty's shoulders this week.
*3/4

Match#4 Greg Valentine w/Jimmy Hart vs David Stoudimiere

Holy shit what an episode. Hammer does amazing Hammer things for 90 seconds, and there's nothing better for the soul after a long day than that. Figure Four gets Hammer a win.
*1/2

WWF Events Center-
-Ken Patera works here and says words.
-Heenan again says he shows respect for the king of the WWF, and it's time for Warrior and Savage to start showing that respect as the king has his eyes on their titles. LONG LIVE THE KING.

Match#5 The Ultimate Warrior vs Brian Costello
Rough one for Warrior as his offence looks extra shitty and bad, and he's lost and terrible and can't cover for himself. He wins with the combo.
1/4*

WWF Update-
-Lord Hayes recaps the birth of Red Rooster.

Match#6 The Young Stallions vs Sandy Beach & Mike Sharpe
Perfectly ok outing for the young pretty boys doing their fine ass basics, and well not much else. Roma wins with a Dropkick.
*

Match#7 Dino Bravo w/Frenchy Martin vs Tommy Angel

Nah
