Gonna be honest. One of the matches I didn't care for either song. But I have to try and learn to tolerate SOAD, since my girl likes them.

I don't actually rate SOAD that high myself but their top songs, Aerials included, are like just peak for me, it's a weird dichotomy

My first choices were Pyramid Song by Radiohead and Someday by the Strokes but I tried to mix it up since I've picked both of those already this run

I'll post my second choice afterwards. If I do it now, it will give away what mine is.

I didn't have a second choice. I knew which one I wanted the moment I saw the year and actually set my alarm to make sure I'm awake for when we could send our songs in, just so I have the best possible chance to end this season with it.

The song stuck with me for 24 years now and will continue to do so. It's my personal favorite song of that artist and it's one of only a handful of Singles I actually bought this century. Doesn't matter if it wins or not, it's such a great moment for me to finish a BOTS season with it.
