According to Pwinsider.com, WWE has released Ryan Braddock. The release happened sometime in the last few days.

Braddock was signed back in 2005 and was a standout in developmental, holding both the OWV and Deep South titles. In August of 2008 he debuted on the Smackdown brand, but didn't receive much of a push.

Before his release, he had been working a new gimmick in Florida Championship Wrestling, where he would observe matches from ringside and take notes on his laptop computer.

LOL... I wouldn't even recognise him if he came up to me and said "Hi, I'm Dolph Ziggler". (No suprising considering I can't ever recall seeing him and I've only missed 1, maybe two editions, of SD in quite some time.)

I know we're in economically tough times, which has gotta be playng a part in them being released rather than keeping them waiting in the wings), but ya gotta feel for these guys who make it to 'the big time' only to get fired before they even have a chance to get over (or in some cases before they even have a match!).

Who the hell is this guy? I've been reading that he's been trying out different gimmics like every 3 or so weeks, but I've never seen a single match, promo, squash, nothing.

That guy was a tool anyways. I hope they don't axe Ricky Ortiz next.

I dont know, I seen some of his OVW stuff, and he was basically a young, better verison of James Storm. I was pretty high on the guy, but the wwe had nothing for him, since he was a little plain i guess.

As i said with Colt Cabana's release. WWE's loss, will be someone elses gain.

I really liked what we saw of Braddon when he was teaming with Kenny. I really think he could have been good, but whatever.
