If there is actually a real "push towards Bucks vs. FTR with all four sets on the line" then FTR better wins it. ...and I don't say that just because I obviously love FTR, as anyone here should know by now, but also because of story and character evolvement. As great as the Bucks are, they better not get the nod in this.

I think the Bucks themselves would decline the win. I agree with you, the story is FTR getting all the gold.
