I hated the Swerve/Gunn match. Just was super freaking slow tempo and really in the end I think Swerve should have really took it to Billy after the match. Aside from that I don't understand the match being booked if it wasn't to continue the tag feud and have Billy be that "sacrificial lamb".

Short, but really good promo from MJF. I will be glad (as this is what seems to be happening) when MJF dumps Stokley and the rest of the goons as I think MJF needs to have the title run without having "muscle" make it feel legit and make him feel like the biggest "pillar" in AEW as he should be.

I get that they're trying to play up the "MJF is over both of their shoulders and ready to pounce once they win" but it really takes away from having the Hangman/Mox match feel important enough, imo.

Jericho/Danielson match was meh. REALLY, really did not see that ending happening. Not sure how I feel about it as I really think this stops Garcia's momentum which kind of sucks.

Butcher and Blade promo was......interesting.

ME was really good. Really glad it didn't end with some nonsense. Overall a decent show, not the greatest but decent.

I'm not sure this necessarily "stops" his momentum, but if it's the direction, you could tell on his face he was bothered by the decision... or maybe it was character work lol. But his face definitely didn't look like "Ah, gotcha bitch!"

I've been saying they'd be stupid af to book it how they did for weeks but I'll admit that seeing it actually happen (and maybe bc it was in Canada and the crowd reacted how they did) I changed my mind lol it was great and like you said the angle clearly isn't over, Garcia is still most likely gonna turn face in a different way
