I never got used to Adam Copeland anyway and it's weird to me too but more of a lateral move bc of that lol I can see the logic if they just thought "the rated r superstar Adam Copeland" was too long and Cope is a 4 letter word like Edge but that's the only logic I think makes sense and it still feels like an unnecessary name shortening lol I wish it was just a natural thing, like maybe the graphic and official name is Cope but the announcers don't make a point to say it everyone, they say Copeland sometimes too. Which tbf they also still will probably do by mistake
