Alright.

Yes, a revamp. Now, when you think about it, for a good couple of years the majority of the time everyone's been disappointed and complaining about the WWE. They always make a wrong decision, someone should've returned then, someone should be face, someone should be heel, why has he still got the title? He needs to retire. All these questions and statements are always asked or made. It's been a while since there's (in our opinion) a 'very good' Pay-Per-View. Wrestlemania 25 was a disaster it seems.

So since it's 'that' bad, do we all think that the whole company needs a revamp? A ton of sacking and a ton of new hirings? New writers? Come on, it's been a while since there's been a decent amount of time where we've been happy with the product. It seems recently we were generally happy with the product for a decent amount of time but let down big time last night.

Thoughts?

It could work but then again it could get a whole lot worse with all the new writers and such, It might end up like TNA.

As for a very good PPV, I think the Royal Rumble this year could go there.

I'm not necessarily saying this is what I think. This is the impression I get when I read the amount of displeasure people have expressed from a lot of the WWE this past years.

@ seX-Power: It had the most predictable Rumble in a long time. Maybe even ever.

From television or the company?

I'd really love a good explanation for this if it's his television character because we're talking about probably the greatest heel character of all-time.

They just need to stop targeting their product on kids.

Perhaps let go of the PG-13 rating and switch back to some brutal matches filled with violence.

Then they need better storylines and rivalries, something controversial and unpredictable. Everything is too predictable nowadays, like Triple H and John Cena winning every other Championship match. They need to give the Championship to people like The Big Show (although he sucks), Shawn Michaels, JBL, Undertaker and Christian Cage to make their shows somewhat exciting.

They need to stop the quick title changes though, that annoys me no end. Noone seems to hold the belt for longer than a month except HHH these days :(

Shawn Michaels won't hold another title in WWE, he's reduced his schedule, JBL's retiring and I'd say 'Taker's on the same deal as HBK. Christian needs time but I agree with the rest.

Were they ever more then TV-14? They're PG now, not even PG-13.

Look to solve the writer problem it's simple. Take Michael Hays and put him in FCW, make Dusty in charge of Smackdown/ECW and of course the most simple move hire Paul Heyman and make him do the worjk on the flag ship show it will work wonders. Maybe even put Flair booking ECW. I don't know it's unlickley but it just might work

You can't have a revamp because certain people didn't like it. Half of the internet fans/smarks didn't like it, the other half did. So even then there is no need for a revamp, because half still liked it. Then, on top of that, all the people who are fans who aren't on forums or news sites, and just go to the shows or watch the shows, for the most part, I'm guessing liked it as well.
There's no need to revamp something just because a small fraction of the fanbase was displeased. That fraction doesn't include me though, because I like it.
What does need to go though, is the SD writers. SD has been awful, and not even watchable. Fire them.

I have to lol at the entire IWC. Go around different sites and read the different reviews for Mania. Every match is rated nicely, only complaining about CM Punk winning and the ending for HHH and Orton...but when they gave their overall rating for the event, somehow it all goes down to a 5 out of 10.

It doesn't need a revamp. Half the IWC is divided on whether it was good or a letdown, most aren't even talking of bad, but of a letdown. And the marks just love Wrestlemania

This thread is not my opinion. I'm simply asking whether this is needed judging by the impression I've gotten from people's opinions based on the WWE for the last few years. I'm also saying, perhaps Wrestlemania was the final straw for people.

I completely understand it's not your opinion. In fact, I'm glad you pointed that out. Sometimes people seem to think that when someone makes a thread posing a question, that it's their opinion, when it's not. So I get what you mean.

I wouldn't say wrestlemania was awful, but it was a bit of a let-down, especially the ending. I just think that a lot of what's been wrong with the product has been very obvious, which is what I don't understand. It was obvious that they should have brought Christian in on SD or Raw, it was obvious that CM Punk shouldn't have won MITB again (even though I'm a big fan of Punk), it's obvious that they need Edge on his own without Vickie. There are just a lot of strange decisions going on in creative at the moment. How much of it is poor writing and how much of it is poor decision making on the part of Vince I don't know.
